Mesprit Pokemon Card Review

Card Typing and HP

This Mesprit card is a psychic type Pokémon card and is also a Legendary Pokémon in the Games TCG and Anime. This Mesprit Card has 70HP total and is therefore quite a strong Pokémon Card to use in a Deck. Also has a good attack Damage also.

Attack Damage and Abilities

The ability on this card is as follows If you have Aself  in play, your opponents Pokémon in play has no resistance. This is a strong Ability because it means that if your opponents Active Pokémon Resists Psychic type Pokémon then it does the right amount of damage instead of - how ever much damage they are usually able to do. The only downside to this Ability is that Aself has to be in play for the Ability to work which means that you have to have Aself in your Deck as well as Mesprit. That is the only downside to this ability.

The Attack on this card is called Mind Splash which does 20+ damage there is also an effect on this card which states If Uxie is on your Bench, this attack does 50 more damage. Therefore for this attack to do as much damage as possible Uxie must be on your bench. The total amount of damage this attack can do therefore is 70 damage which is a lot to do to your opponents Active Pokémon.

Weakness Resistance and Retreat Cost

The Weakness for this Pokémon is Psychic Pokémon (Itself) which this Pokémon is 2X weak to which is confusing really.

The resistance for this Pokémon is nothing so this Pokémon will always take at least the minimum amount of Damage every time due to the lack of a resistance.

This Pokémon Card has a one Colourless Energy Retreat Cost which means that you have to get a Energy on this Pokémon onto your Discard Pile to Retreat Cost.

Sqiurtle Pokemon Card Review

This Card has 60HP and is one of the starters along with Bulbasaur and Charmander. It is a Water type Pokemon card and is x2 weak to Grass Type Pokemon. It is one of the most Powerful Pokemon starters in the anime and is my favorite starter ever. Its moves are:

  • Bubble = Flip a coin if heads your Opponents active Pokemon is now Paralyzed.
  • Water Gun = 20 Damage
The damage for Water Gun is 20 for one basic Water energy Card and one Colourless energy Card. And for Bubble you need just one Basic Water Energy Cards. That is how the card works. I do use this card in my deck. Only use it though if you have the full line because once you get it to Blastiose your Opponent is done for. So use this Card but only if you have the full line to get Squirtle up to Blastiose.

Todadile Pokemon Card Review

This card is an amazing card for a water type deck you should definitely use this card if you have a Water Deck. The card has two attacks:

  • Gnaw = 10 damage
  • Water Splash = 20 damage
This card needs for it's first attack, one water energy. And for its second attack it needs one water energy and one colourless energy (any energy card of any type, must be basic). This card is two times weak to Grass type Pokemon and has a one colourless energy retreat cost. Great card for building a competitive Pokemon Battling Deck. I think highly of this card and will give it a 3 out of 5 Card review. Also it has no resistance to any Pokemon Type.

Snivy Pokemon Crad Review

This Pokemon Card is a Grass Type Pokemon Card and is a Johto Starter. In the Anime Trip starts with a Snivy and then beats Ashes Pikachu. Anyway the Card has 60HP and has two attacks:

  • Paralyzing Gaze = Flip a coin if heads your opponents active Pokemon is now Paralyzed
  • Tail Smack = 20 Damage
To do paralyzing Gaze you have to have one Colourless Energy ( any energy) and attach it to this Pokemon.
To do Tail Smack you need One Grass Type Energy and one Colourless Energy ( any energy of any type).

Electabuzz Pokemon Card Review

This is a card that is an electric type and one that has 80HP. It is a very powerful Pokemon and one that evolves into it's Stage One evolution Electavire. A Pokemon who is also a very powerful Pokemon if looked after correctly. In the anime Paul had an Electavire and it wasn't very effective due to how it's trainer Paul was treating it. Anyway, the card has two attacks:
  • Light Punch = 10 Damage
  • Ambush = 20+ = Flip a coin. If heads his attack does 20 more Damage.
So it is a decent Pokemon in terms of how well it does as a Basic Pokemon Card. So for that reason I would use this card in my Deck if it was a Pure Electric Type Deck. But only if I had the evolved form Electavire.
